About SolWoods Storyhouse

Golden light streaming through forest trees, evoking renewal, purpose, and grounded storytelling.

The Name

SolWoods Storyhouse is shaped by three pillars: visibility, growth, and connection.

Sol

From Latin, meaning sun. Sol represents illumination — shining light on missions that deserve to be seen and supported. It reflects our belief that the right story, told with intention, can inspire communities to engage and move people toward action.

Woods

Woods represent depth, growth, and connection. Strong organizations don’t grow overnight; they take root in communities and foster relationships. We believe organizational communications should do the same — be grounded, intentional, and built to endure.

The Storyhouse

A storyhouse is a place where stories are gathered, shaped, and shared with care.

Together, SolWoods Storyhouse reflects how we approach every partnership. We exist to help organizations tell their stories authentically, honoring the people they serve while ensuring their mission is understood, supported, and able to grow.

Our Philosophy

We believe storytelling is a responsibility.

For nonprofits and purpose-led organizations, communications are not about visibility alone. They are about stewardship of trust, resources, and community.

Our work centers on helping organizations:
Ground their narrative in mission and community
Communicate with intention
Build credibility that compounds over time
